Refund policy


Returns Process


  1. A return needs to be logged with YNZA within 2 business days of receipt by the customer, by sending the return details to info@ynza.co.za. A detailed description of the goods that need to be returned, the reason for the reason and the original invoices need to be sent with the email.
  2. YNZA will respond to the request for return within 7 business days.
  3. If it is initially determined that the return is potentially a valid return, the customer will be responsible to courier the return items back to YNZA at their own cost.
  4. 14 Business days after receiving the items marked for return by YNZA, YNZA will determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether a refund is issued or whether the product is replaced.
  5. Only items that have a material defect will be considered for return. Material Defects are defects that exclude but are not limited to the following: differences in color between the item displayed on our website and the final color after application and finishing, Marbelling, Incorrectly ordered sizes, colors or products, improper use or application of any product, applying product incorrectly, applying product without the necessary training and qualification to do so, failure to adhere to common standards in the industry, applying product to natural nails that have any form of condition or disease whose contra-indications clearly state that no product should be applied, any changes of defects to the Young Nails products that occur as a result of mixing different brands of products.
  6. Where it is determined in the sole and exclusive discretion of YNZA that a refund is applicable a minimum of a 25% handling fee will be applied to the refund.
  7. Refunds will only be in the form of online store vouchers.

 

2. Warranty on Electronic Products such as the Young Nails eFile(s), UV Lamp and Dust Extractor


Your warranty covers the normal use of the product for the purpose it was intended for, for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Normal wear and tear on the product is to be expected.

eFiles - The warranty does not extend to or cover the following:


1. A dropped handpiece
2. Using eFile bits that are not original Young Nails bits
3. Running the Handpiece at excessively high speeds for extended durations or excessive stretching of the cable between the base unit and the handpiece
4. Any damage to the surface of the base unit caused by cleaning including the use of cleanser, acetone, swipe, alcohol, or any other form of solvent or cleaning agent
5. Ingress of dust into the handpiece or the base unit
6. The attachment of non Young Nails accessories such as foot pedal controls (your eFile is not supplied with one and if you add one that is not authorised by Young Nails this will void your warranty)
7. Forcing the bits into and out of the handpiece without unlocking the chuck
8. Any form of water or liquid damage to the handpiece or base unit
9. Any damage caused by electrical systems such as power surges and spikes

10. Reduced battery life in the case of rechargeable eFiles

11. Opening the handpiece or the base unit by the customer will void the warranty.

 

UV Lamps - The warranty does not extend to or cover the following:


1. Normal wear and tear due to usage. A UV Lamp is fitted with LED lights which will, over the course of its normal use, deteriorate and diminish over time.
2. Any damage to the surface parts caused by improper use or cleaning.
3. Damage to the display unit caused by cleaning or wiping with any chemical or solvent or liquid
4. General marks caused by use such as get paints within the lamp or on top of the lamp
5. Any damage caused by electrical systems such as power surges and spikes

Dust Extractors - The Warranty Does not cover or extend to:

1. Normal wear and tear due to usage. 
2. Any damage to the surface parts cause by improper use or cleaning.
3. General marks, scratches or chips caused by normal use
4. Any damage caused by electrical systems such as power surges and spikes
5. Any tampering, changes, bypassing of safety mechanisms or improper use of the product
6. Implements and tools falling into the extractor during operation

eFile Bits

  1. No warranty of any sort is provided on any eFile bits at all.
  2. If a bit was working as expected on its FIRST USE immediately after being removed from the packaging then in such instances the bit is deemed to be fully functional without any material defect.
  3. Young Nails eFile bits must be used with Young Nails eFiles. Where a Young Nails eFile bit is used in a different brand of eFile no refunds or replacement of alleged defective bits will be considered.
  4. Customers are required to ensure that their Young Nails eFile is in proper working condition at all times.
  5. Only in circumstances where it is clearly shown that the eFile bit is not functioning as expected on its FIRST USE after being removed from the original packaging will a replacement or refund be considered. 
  6. Bits that break, loose sharpness, have vibrations after FIRST USE are not considered to be defective and will not be replaced or refunded.
  7. Young Nails eFile bits must only be used as intended and only on Young Nails products by qualified Young Nails technicians. Where a qualified Young Nails technician uses a Young Nails eFile bit on product that is NOT Young Nails no refund or replacement will be considered at all.

 

PRODUCT AGEING

  1. Customers may not claim a refund or replacement of any product after 5 calendar days of the product being received by the customers
  2. Customer must ensure that all products are stored in an environment that is cool, dry and away from any form of sunlight whatsoever
  3. Customers may not claim any refund or replacement for product that have been impacted by ageing and/or improper storage.
